Mary Norman Obituary
Mary was born November 12th, 1944, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Clara Pearl Reitano (Singer) and Sidney Rolland Reitano.
Affectionately known as 'Granny' by most, Mary lived her life to the fullest through the simple pleasures; visiting with family and friends, sneakily sharing her dinner with the nearest critter and chatting at the table for hours over a cup of coffee long gone cold.
Rarely able to sit still, she put many miles on her truck, scoping out yard sales and thrift stores, inducing nausea and whiplash in her passengers with her need for speed and penchant for tapping the brake.
With an ever-burning hatred of the cold, she spent many years snow-birding, enjoying Michigan summers with her children and grandchildren and Florida winters with her late husband, refurbishing vehicles and trailers, playing card games with her friends and the occasional visit to a casino.
Mary is survived by a host of loved ones. Her children; Judy Lloyd (James Nelson), Barbara (Kenneth) Hodges, Bernetta (Ronald) Bruner, and daughter in-law Vera Lloyd. Her memory also lives on in her 14 grandchildren; Kevin Whitehouse, Anthony Lloyd, Leah Lloyd, Johnathan Bucy, Jessica Nelson, Joshua Newton, Ryan Newton, Jodi Newton, Sam Newton, Cydney Newton-Rodriguez, Caitlin Newton, Tiffany Bruner, Crystal Bruner, Brittany Bruner; as well as 7 great-grandchildren. Her siblings; Sydney Campbell, Daniel Reitano, Dave (Shelly) Reitano, and Dennis (Melanie) Reitano. We simply cannot forget her beloved pets; her 3 dogs Missy, Daisy, Duke and 2 cats, Boots and Delilah.
She is preceded in death by her eldest child, Garry Lloyd. Her husband, Bobby Norman. Grandson, David Bucy. By 2 brothers, Andre Reitano, Robert Reitano, and infant sister Lillian Reitano.

We love and miss you, Granny. Keep puttering along and we'll see you again under the light of the Neon Moon.
