John and Stewart,

I am very saddened to have heard the news about your mothers passing. She was such an incredibly gifted person who understood better than most how genuine goodness and success are bred by our ability to face life based upon our beliefs. And, how wonderful it is to laugh at our own human idiosyncrasies while never losing sight that we are accountable for everything we do. I am very grateful to have known her.

My deepest sympathy.

Dear John and Stewart,
We were so sorry to hear about your mother's death. We were happy to have known her from way back when we were all Linden Ave. neighbors. She was smart; she was caring; and she had a wonderful sense of humor. Our sincere condolences.

Dear John and Stew and family,
I pass along my deepest condolensces on your mother's passing. She was a positive influence on many, none more then myself. She gave me a chance to continue at CMU when my days were numbered, and gave me guidance that I desperately needed at school. I owe much of what I have been able to make in my professional career to her. Her friendship, guidance, and sense of caring will be with me forever. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. God Bless,

John and Stew,
I am very sorry for your loss. As a former student, I always thought your Mom had so much energy that she would live forever, I guess. I hope you will take comfort in the fact that there are so many out there like me who were helped and inspired by your Mom.

John & Stewart,
We go back to your Linden Avenue days with great memories. We also remember when your mom was writing a program to be taught at CMU and, when completed, it was taught with great success. Years later she wanted to teach that class using her material and was told she couldn't because whe wasn't qualified!

John and Stew,
My deepest sympathies. I met your Mom on my first day at Carnegie Mellon. As a teacher she touched so many lives. She was a dedicated, caring woman with a sly sense of humor. I will miss her.
