MARY LOU ELIZABETH POLLARD

June 14, 1935 September 26, 2022

Mary Lou Pollard was born on June 14, 1935, and passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022, at the age of 87.

She was born in Hanford, CA to Louis and Mayme Ragsdale. Raised in Wasco, CA she attended local schools and graduated, at 16, from Wasco High School where she was a song leader and homecoming queen. It was there that she met Harvel Pollard. They were married on February 14, 1954.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of more than 68 years, Harvel; daughter Laurie Guevara (Tom); son Mark Pollard (Cindy); and son Brad Pollard; grandsons Todd Guevara (Kristin); Spencer, Chad, Arthur and Walter Pollard; great-grandchildren Madison Guevara Romero; Jason, Taylor and Morgan Guevara and Mars Pollard; and great, great-grandchildren Jason and Payten Romero. She was preceded in passing by her parents and a grandson, Jason Guevara, Tom and Laurie's son.

The family would like to thank Dr. William F. Baker and staff; Dr. Ravi Patel and staff at CBCC; and the care team at Windsor Subacute Care Facility.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I never knew Mary Lou personally but I wish I had. She was a great "down to earth" woman who was devoted to Coach Pollard and all of her family. You know you will see her again. Feel the joy!!!
