My condolences to Edie, Mary, Sally and Tracy. Aunt Molly was a wonderful auntie for me when the Rock clan took me for the better part of summer '67 - giving me the opportunity of being a part of their everyday lives, playing their records, reading Peanuts and Mad Magazine and getting a glimpse of the 3 Rockefeller ladies in adolescence. The following summer, Molly sent me a HUGE gift card while I was away at Y camp - the envy of all the other campers. Another recollection that has aged well was driving from Bay Pond to Rye in August of 69 in Molly's red Mustang and getting stuck several hours in the Woodstock aftermath traffic jam. For a kid whose world experience consisted of Darien suburbs and TV - this a mind bending experience..people were amassed on the side of the road; hippies, the flower power VW busses, hitchikers, beads, bell bottoms ..Molly took it all in stride. I'm so happy I had the chance to visit her in Bay Pond with my wife Miriam and two kids Evan and Ruthie last summer. I hope she remembered how much I loved her. RIP dear Aunt Molly.

Molly was a great lady, with a sense of humor and fun. She was also thoughtful and kind. I was sorry to hear of your mother's death.

Molly (Mom) was always interested in the world of flowers and gardens. When Mom and Dad were married, their reception was held at the Bartow-Pell Mansion, home of the International Garden Club. In the past 10 years, The New York Botanical Gardens has been one of her two favorite charities to support, not only financially but with support of another ways as well. One of Mom's granddaughter's is actively on the path to earning her second certificate in their Adult Education program.
Mom's other charity that she was involved with was The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA. Asa descendant with Duncan and McKee blood in her veins, this was a way to support the "homeland".
Instead of flowers, please send a donation to her "causes" in her name to these worthy institutions.
