Mary R. Rogan of Nanuet, NY passed away on Jan 17, 2019 peacefully surrounded by herfamily at the age of 93 after a brief illness.

Mary was a first generation American born in Manhattan, NY on July 30, 1925 to Martin Waldron and Bridget Creighton Waldron who were proud Irish immigrants. She was one of fourchildren including John Waldron and Catherine Waldron Acconzo, both pre-deceased and survived by her sister, Joan Waldron Kelly.

On September 25, 1948 Mary married Thomas F. Rogan and resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Nanuet, NY where she lived for more than 63 years. Marywas a telephone operator for the NY Telephone Company in Suffern, NY before her retirement. She was a devoted and loving wife, sister and aunt to over 100 surviving niece, nephews, grand-niece and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews. Her husband,Thomas Rogan passed on August 6, 1996. Mary is also survived by her husband's sibling John Rogan, James Rogan, Daniel Rogan, Michael Rogan and Margaret Rogan Turner.

Mary enjoyed cross word puzzles in her earlier years, and always enjoyed a good joke and spending time with friends and family. She was always thinking of how she could help others, either through her kind words, actions or prayers. Mary loved her community and friends at Seton Village where she resideduntil her passing. Her family is asking that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to Seton Village, 148 Convent Road, Nanuet, NY 10954.
