Mrs. Mary Frances Jones Rollings, 72 of Landis passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born on September 27, 1943 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Hillary Frank Jones Sr. and Helen Woods Jones. A graduate of China Grove High School, she was a longtime member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She owned and operated her own hair salon in the China Grove and Landis area for 43 years. Mrs. Rollings worked for Tilley Harley Davidson in Salisbury for many years as a receptionist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother H.F. Jones Jr. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband James Hazel Rollings, children Johnny Chambliss Prince Jr. (Cathy) of Huntersville, Eric Rollings (Liz) of Carolina Beach, NC, Misty Isaac (Chris) of Salisbury, Nicole Marsh (Billy) of Cleveland, Natalie Pugh and Kimberly Rollings, both of Morristown Tenn. Also surviving her is her sister Frankie Dabbs (Wayne) of China Grove as well as grandchildren, Chris Prince, Shaina Dabbs, Miranda Ervin, Taylor Brown, Madison and Jacob Jackson, Kaitlyn and Hannah Rollings and Gavin and Skylar Pugh.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 til 4:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with memorial service at 4:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Troop Ferguson, minister. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church 107 S. Beaver St. Landis, NC 28088. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.linnhoneycuttfuneralhome.com

Judy and I both grieve with you and your family. I have known Mary I guess as long as I have been here in Landis. I have never herd a cross word about her or her conviction with the Lord.. share her memory and remember the Lord just opened up a nother door for Mary, and I am sure he said well done thy good and faithful servant

I'm so sorry to hear about Sissy's passing. My parents lived beside Sissy's parents when Sissy and Frankie and HF were little. Sissy used to cut my parents hair. She was a sweet lady.

Mary was such a refreshing person in public and on the phone. She shared her happy thoughts when time allowed. Mary would always make me smile...such a true lady.
I didn't know anything when I was at Tilley's Friday. If not for a good friend, I still would not have known as I was in KY.
My sincere prayers for the family/friends of Mary Rollings as she is now with God. Bless Mary Rollings as the wonderful woman I had met in this life.

To me she has always been "Sissy".I have always loved her smile,laughter,and sweetness. Have known her since she was a little girl and so glad she was in my life. Loved her deeply and know she will be greatly missed. I did not know about her passing until today(Monday Sept 26). So sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate her life.

I will so miss her.... her smile and conversations would brighten my day each time I seen her at Tilley's HD. she was a such an angel..I spent yesterday crying and designing a patch to wear on my vest. with angel wings and her name....I am so blessed to have had her in my life.I Know she is in heaven and in the arms of LOVE!

I'm so glad that you are a man of God, and hopefully with that said, it will make this hard time easier on you. Miss Mary was my very dear friend, and we talked on a daily basis when I worked at Tilley's. So sad for her sudden departure, but she is now part of something much bigger than we can conceive. You as well as everyone that reads this can find comfort in knowing, that if your heart is right with the Good Lord.......you will see her again !!!! Take care old friend.
