It has been seven years since you left this earth and regrettably not much has changed, politics and racial divide still dominate the news, with something new, Covid 19 taking center stage. You and Jack have reunited which is everything he wished for. We miss you both.

On your birthday in 2019 Jack was staying with us while trying to overcome his cancer. We drove out to the cemetery to visit you, not knowing that less than one month later his spirit and yours would be joined once again. Mary and Jack, together forever.

In many ways my life has mimicked that of my Aunt Mary and Uncle Jack. I married the love of my life, did not to have children, and moved out of Jacksonville for a slightly slower pace. I think about Aunt Mary's generosity and positive - always laughing - attitude (with a little type A when it came to her cars). While I didn't get to see her all that often throughout my life, I do remember all of the family gatherings and all of the fun we had. Thank you for always taking such good care of Uncle Jack, you will be missed.

Mary will be missed by so many, but most of all by her husband Jack with whom she shared her life as not only a wife, but also as a best friend. Mary enjoyed family, friends, travel and cars and she could bring people together, most of the time without force. Mary is now in a place where she can visit family and friends who have passed, see the entire world, and drive a new car everyday. Not too bad for a country girl....Ka-ching.

Our thoughts and prayers to Jack and the Ruby family. May God bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead.
Love,
The Macy Family
