Mary D. Sadoski

SADOSKI Mary D. Mary D. Sadoski, age 86, of the Polish Village, Toledo, died Saturday, October 28, 2006, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Mary was born on May 5, 1920, in Samaria, MI to George and Carrie (Nusbaum) Komorowski. She was married to Norbert J. Sadoski who preceded her in death. She had been employed by St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center coronary care unit until her retirement in 1985, after 21 years. She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church since 1943, where she was active in the PTA, Seniors Club, and as a Festival volunteer. She belonged to the Ohio Theatre, Chester Zablocki Senior Center, where she enjoyed the Pinocole Club, the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, TAPS, St. Vincent Retirees, the Eagles on Jackman Rd. and was a member of the MetroParks. Mary enjoyed line and polka dancing Mary is survived by her loving children, Daniel (Linda) Sadoski, Elizabeth (Bill) Eddy, Mark (Brenda) Sadoski, and James (Amy) Sadoski, as well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grand-children. Also surviving Mary are sisters, Lucy McDonald, Theresa Van Hove, and Kathleen Seromik and brothers, George Komorowski and Fr. Louis Komorowski (OSF). Mary was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pam (Sadoski) Fording. Friends may call in the Urbanski Funeral Home, 2907 LaGrange Street at Dexter, (419) 244-4611 Wednesday, November 1, 2006, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m., where the Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday with closing prayers at 9:30 a.m. followed by The Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Hedwig Catholic Church with Fr. Louis Komorowski officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mary's family wish to extend their appreciation the Staffs of Aspen Grove Assisted Living and Hospice of Northwest Ohio at Perrysburg. They suggest donations may be made to IHM Mother House in Monroe MI or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
