Mary K. (Slyva) Sears, 91, died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was the wife of the late Albert B. Sears. Daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Slyva, she was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park. Mary was a resident of Brockton for many years. She was an assembler at Raytheon for many years before retiring over 30 years ago. Mary enjoyed scratching an occasional lottery ticket, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Mary is survived by her son, Albert M. Sears and his wife Gloria of Middleboro, as well as her grandsons, Michael Sears and his wife Michelle and Christopher Sears and his wife Stacey and her great-grandchildren, Colby, Brandon, Gabriella and Andrew Sears. She was the sister of the late Stella Slyva and Michael Slyva. She was the aunt of Joannie and her husband Leon, George, Michael and Jonathan. Funeral Services will be held private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.

Mary was a wonderful lady, her son Al + daughter- law Gloria loved her very much! As did her grandchildren + great grandkids. I'm sure that she will be sorely missed by all!!
