TIFTON— Mary Janice Giddens Allen Singleton, 60, of Tifton, died July 6, 2008, at Tift Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Harris officiating with burial to follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Brian Ross, Christian Smith, Chip Watson, Rusty Vaughn and David Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Moore Sr., Wayne Moore, Dale Allen, Tim Singleton, Jerry Youngblood and Donnie Willis.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.Ms. Singleton was born on March 3, 1948 in Berrien County to George Curtis Giddens and Mary Nell Lee Giddens Smith, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Singleton.Ms. Singleton was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.She is survived by her son, Franklin Lee Allen of Tifton; two brothers, Larry Hance Smith of Sycamore and Terrell Colie Smith of Tifton; and four sisters, Judy Dianne Ross, Martha Sonja Baker, Susan Idora Walker and Laura Elizabeth Babbitt, all of Tifton.You may sign the online guest registry at www.bowen-donaldson.com.
