Mary Louise Slagle

Mary Louise Slagle, 68, of Price Lane, Greeneville, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Slagle attended Friendship Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter who loved her Lord and going to church.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years: Harlie Slagle; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Brenda and Roy Adams, Barbara and Danny Johnson; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Harlie R. Jr. and Sandy Slagle, James Slagle; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; mother: Vernie Smith; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends: Betty Smith and Leslie Harrell.

She was the daughter of the late Hugh J. Smith and was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Ruth Smith and Wanda Baird; and two brothers: James David Smith and Levi Willie Smith.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Monday and Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Rick Bowser and Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.

Interment will follow at 11am Wednesday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10am Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service.

Pallbearers will be James Robinson, Jimmy Thach, Lloyd Smith, Billy Davis, Zack White, Bobby Pleasant, Chris Shelton, Michael Alley, and Andy McDonald.
