Mary Strack Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 8, 2024.

Mary Ann Strack, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on December 5, 2024. Born on December 27, 1957, in Indiana.

Mary was a loving and devoted wife to Alvin "Ted" Strack for 17 years. Together, they were high on life, savoring the simple pleasures of watching their favorite movies at home and showering affection on their beloved dog, Tonto. She was a cherished mother to her daughter, Liz King, offering unwavering support, boundless love, and an inappropriate comment that always brought a smile.

But Mary's greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren-Chase King, Hunter Monroe, and Hayden King. She often said that their births transformed her life for the better, and the deep love and encouragement she gave them reflected that sentiment.

Generosity was at the heart of who Mary was. Whether in life or in death as an organ donor, she gave of herself selflessly. She was a beautiful soul, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or share a laugh. Mary's kindness extended to everyone she met, and her smile would light up any room.

Her love for the outdoors, music, and her dog, Tonto, brought her joy, but what she loved most was spending time with her family. Whether it was with a bucket or mop or cooking macaroni in a pot, Mary was always at her best when she was taking care of those she loved.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will live on through her family and friends, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Woo Ha Mary. Woo Ha.
