I helped Mary for many years taking care of her apartment. She was the greatest lady. Full of life, lots of fun and full of wisdom. She never complained. She lived for her family and friends. She will be not be forgotten. May she now rest in peace. Renee

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mary Ann, but I feel like I knew her because of her incredible daughter, Pat. Pat has been an inspiration to so many adults and children. Pat's always been best known for her genuine love of teaching and her incredibly nurturing way...I am certain she gained these qualities from her mother. Her mother meant the world to her.
I used this quote to describe Pat in her retirement and I am sure it describes Mary Ann as well.
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Pat.

Mary Ann was kind, caring, funny, giving and loving.Knowing I am the mother of a teen your mother made me smile and oftentimes laugh out loud when she told me stories of you "kids" growing up.She'd get this amazing twinkle in her eyes and she'd light up whenever she spoke of you and her grandchildren. She was so very proud of all of you! She was also kind and sweet to my daughter Elizabeth and I.
My heartfelt sympathies to the Vogan Family.

I am saddened by the fact I never had the chance to meet Mary Ann - but in my heart know what kind of person she must have been and how many lives she must have touched. I have had the pleasure of working with one of the most influential people in my life...her daughter Pat.I can only speculate how wonderful a woman she is. My deepfelt thoughts and prayers to you and your family Pat. You are always on my mind.

I had the pleasure of working at Devon Manor with Mary Ann and sharing many a reunion luncheon with her and our other nurse buddies.Mary Ann lived a life of love. She never said a bad word about anyone, and always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. Her face would light up whenever she spoke of her family, and she was always smiling despite all the trials she went through. Many speak of being christlike, but Mary Ann lived it in her quiet, gentle way. My condolences to all her family and those who loved her, which are many, no doubt. God bless! Liz

Chuck..Please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of your mother. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I did talk to her several times on the telephone. We had several good laughs over the antics of you "kids"..even if you were all grown up at the time. She even sent me the brochure of your getting command of your own ship which I treasure. I know all of you will miss her very much.
