Columbus, Georgia- Mary Frances Walton, 69, 1326 Floyd Road, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Rose Hill Chapel of Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service, LLC., 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus,GA with Elder Samuel Reddick, officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00PM-7:00PM, today Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Rose Hill Chapel of Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service, 2919 Hamilton Road. Mrs. Walton was born September 3, 1932 the daughter of the late Johnny Lee Hudson and Rosie Bell Pierson in Waverly Hall, Georgia. Mrs. Walton worked for the Muscogee County School District until she retired. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Arthur C. Hudson, Sr. of Columbus, GA; five sisters, Willie M. Ford of Waverly Hall, GA, Joann Weaver of Hamilton, GA, Alberta (Rev. Williford) Brownlee of Pine Mountain, GA, Betty (Eugene) Daniels of Lagrange, GA and Mary (Jessie) Brandon of Romulus, MI; 2 grandchildren, Teresa (Patrick Henry) Hudson of Columbus, GA and Arthur C. Hudson, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Jalen L. Henry and Brian B. Henry; 2 loving friends, Margarette Martin of Phenix City, AL and Stacia Taylor of Columbus, GA; and a host of relatives and friends.
