I was sorry to hear of Mary's sudden death. I knew her professionally through her outstanding child care training and found her to be a wonderful resource for all who work with children. She will be sorely missed.

To Mary’s Family:
There are no words to express the shock and sadness I felt upon hearing Mary had passed away. It is hard to grapple with the reality of her absence when she had such a resounding presence. Clichéd as it sounds, she was a like a sunny day: just the thought of her could make you feel warm and smile. I am sure that everyone who knew her felt as I do. She was a smart, witty woman who made you feel comfortable immediately. How lucky for us that she chose a career that allowed that to be shared. I am so glad I had the chance to
know her. Best Wishes, Stacie Hornell-Mason

I was very sad to hear of Mary's passing. I knew her through the child care training system and always learned so much from her. She had a wonderful way of communicating just the right thought and encouraging all of us in our work with children. She will be sorely missed.

I was shocked to hear of MaryKay's passing. She was one of the first kids I ever babysat for and was as cute as any babydoll. She brought much joy to our house. I will always remember her in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Mary´s influence and leadership has touched lives worldwide. Her love and passion toward people and teamwork is a great example of the commitment much more needed to support the families and individuals that require the knowledge and courage that she shared. We should keep that fire alive.
