MaryAlice (Dillon) Hartranft Obituary
MaryAlice was an active member of Annunciation BVM Church, Catasauqua where she taught CCD Classes, and cheerfully volunteered at church fundraising events. She was employed by Just Born Inc. for 33 years as a Channel Account Customer Planner. An avid Notre Dame football and basketball fan, she was a former School Board Member for the Catasauqua Area School District. Those who love her most will always remember her infectious smile and the beautiful person that she was inside and out.
MaryAlice is survived by her husband of 31 years Duke; her sons Kyle (Morgan) and Dillon; along with the love of her life, her grandson Cannon (and fur-baby Rylee), all of Catasauqua; siblings Cathy Delaney (Rick Russo) of Dallas, Maureen Dillon of Hanover Twsp., Sharon Prymock (Randy) of Trexlertown, Karen Kratz (Ron Daniels) of Dallas, Rose Kuscavage (Len Paczkowski) of Nanticoke, Trish Timinski (Joe) of Dupont, Colleen Dillon of Plymouth, Jim Dillon (Karen) of Plymouth, Matt Dillon (Ann Marie) of Exeter, Michelle Roberts (Bob) of Wilkes Barre, Sean Dillon (Nicole) of Dallas, PA; along with 11 nieces, nephews, 8 grand-nieces, nephews, as well as countless loving friends and extended family members.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Edward R. Domin at 11:00 am on Thursday October 17, 2024 in Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, 122 West Union Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032, where her viewing will be held from 9:00 until 10:45 am. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery of Saint Mary in Catasauqua.

Condolences to Duke,the boys, and family. I just found out today about the loss of sweet Mary Alice. I will forever remember her beautiful smile and for the time she volunteered at the Pathway to Santa event at LVHN for Bruce Smith and me. She was dressed up as the Just Born Peep handing out peeps to the hospital patients. Ironically the event was in support of cancer victims. How sad she had to go through such a terrible disease.

I worked with Mary Alice for 18 years and she was truly a great friend and co worker. Can´t forget that she was a cheerleader in high school and she would say let´s do the dick uhler cheer.
Would also give my sincere condolences to Duke and his boys as well as her extended family.
Finally she now is pain free and in the arms of her lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Mary Alice was a mom to me. She always put others first and was always ready to meet other people´s needs before her owns. She was a hard working woman who loved her friends, family, Fighting Irish and her four legged best friend Rylee. She´s now at peace with parents, Daisy, Phoenix and her other friends and family.
