MaryAnn Pauley Obituary
MaryAnn married her high school sweetheart the late Gary Lee T. Pauley on April 24, 1965 at Saint Paul's church in Athens, Ohio. MaryAnn graduated from Athens High School in Athens Ohio and OCC in Syracuse NY. She resided in Cicero NY from 1989 until 2014.
MaryAnn worked at Pulaski Health Center, Independent Health Care Services and Riccelli Physical Therapy before she retired. MaryAnn moved back to Ohio to get away from the NY winters and to be with her brother and sisters. She was an avid book reader of her favorite author Nora Roberts. She enjoyed drives to read at the lake. She had a special love for lighthouses and mushrooms with an impressive collection. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and volunteered at Hospice.
MaryAnn will be welcomed into heaven by her loving husband Gary Lee Pauley, her parents - Theodore and Helen Flood, her sister Rita (Flood) McKibben and lifelong best friend, Ada Walsh.
MaryAnn is survived by her three daughters, Christa Pauley (Jon), Cheri-Kay Pauley, Cathy-Lynne Sandmann (Christopher) and eight grandchildren: Zachary Oakes, Meagan Oakes, Carlee Oakes, Nicolas Barnett, Cassidy Barnett, Sydni Barnett, Luca Barnett and Casey Sandmann along with great granddaughter Laila. Also many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday August 6, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home, 135 Broadway Street, Jackson, with Minister- Hannah Niday officiating.
A celebration of life will be held in Cicero, NY at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
