Matt and I used to spend hours inside a tiny coffee shop at PSU. They had free refills and we'd sit for hours, talking about books. He introduced me to the Celestine Prophecy. He also taught me how to play backgammon there. He was always smiling and happy. I am so sorry to hear of this news.

Mat was a trusted adviser, a patient mentor, and a kind friend. I was a client over the past two years. He had a great sense of humor especially when we were in the trenches.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. May GOD give strength to Ellen and her family to get through this difficult time.

I worked with Ellen for many years at Thomson/Clarivate. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news and I pray for comfort for her and her children.

I am so terribly sad to hear this. I was friendly with Mat when we were neighbors at Naval Square. We used to see each other every morning as we were walking our dogs and we would talk about all sorts of things. We both had cancer and we were able to share those experiences. Such a nice man, kind and genuine. A Mench.

To the Rotenberg family - I am so sorry to hear of Mat's passing. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mat as he attended many TMA and CFA events over the years. My heart-felt sympathy to all you for the loss of your loved one.
