Please receive my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother. She must have been special, raising seven extraordinary children, and working outside the home as well.

Norwegians have a saying: Stor arv det er for mannan av godtfolk vera fødd.

It is a great inheritance to be borne by good people.

And I am proud to share her national origin, and honored to know some of her distinguished descendants.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to your mom and family. The loss is painful but the fond memories you have will live on forever. May she rest in peace.

It is a tough time of year to lose a loved one. All I can say is she must of been proud of her family and left memories that the family will cherish.
