We knew Matt as a fellow student in our son Kevin McPhillips' class at Southridge. We knew he was well-liked and highly regarded. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and our thoughts are very much with his family right now. Sending you our thoughts and prayers at a truly difficult time. Kathleen Thomas and David McPhillips.

Patrick and I will never forget our time as surrogate "parents" to Matt and Chelsea when Larry and Jan entrusted us with looking after them when they went on vacation. Hallway soccer, banister surfing, 50 cent playing in the Acura! Worst babysitters ever!!! Matt was a quiet, gentle, guy, but we'll never forget watching him steal brownies while spying on him from the coach house. Hugs and love to the Sinitsin family--may the memories of Matt live with us for now, and for always.
