Matthew Brasko Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 11, 2025.
Matthew Wayne Brasko, November 9, 1975. 49, passed away on September 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and practical skill. He was a devoted father, brother, son and friend whose presence touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his three children: Taylor, Aaron, and Lilly, his grandchildren Ja'ycian and Mitchell as well as Jacci, the mother of his youngest child, with whom he shared 17 years. Matthew is also survived by his sister, Misty Brasko; his brother, Stephen Brasko III; his mother, Kelley Brasko; and his father, Stephen Brasko Jr. Family takes comfort in knowing that Matthew is now reunited in spirit with his brothers, Timothy and Zachary. His love and devotion to his family, particularly Lilly, were the heart of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Matthew was known for his quick wit, kind heart, and remarkable ability to fix or build almost anything. He had a loud, boisterous laugh that could fill a room and lift the spirits of those around him. Friends and family often remembered him bringing humor and joy to everyday moments, whether through tackling a household project, sharing a story that made everyone laugh, or cheering passionately for the Cleveland Browns.

A private memorial will be held for family and close friends. On October 11th 1-6pm at VFW post 3332. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a mental health organization, in Matthew's name.
