Matt was the most intelligent, most caring and deeply spiritual man I've ever been a around. I met Matt at a time in both our lives when things were basically chaos; we were both struggling to piece things back together. Immediately, we both began building a friendship that was both positive and powerful. Matt told me a lot about whonhe was and where he'd been, and I was often at awe at the life he had already lived. But, he was desperate to get back to his practice and get back to helping others. I was terribly upset when I learned that my friend had passed, because unfortunately we had lost touch amid the shuffle of his work and moving and just the pace of living. I wish I'd had a chance to let him know how much I respected him and appreciated his genuine love and concern for his friends, family and the world. He was in constant pursuit of something higher. He was eager to get to a that spiritual plateau where he would understand the whys of this world. He chased answers and sought true peace. I hope my friend has found it.
Love you, Matt
