Matthew Ryan "Matt" Christopher

Matthew Christopher, 33, of Federal Way, WA. passed away on November 7, 2023. He was born on December 12, 1989, in Federal Way, WA. to his loving parents Jan and David Christopher. Matthew is also survived by his oldest brother Nicholas and his younger sister Allison. He went to Federal Way High School and graduated in 2008. After graduation he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Wa State University. Upon graduation he worked for the United States Postal Service for several years.

Matthew participated in many sporting activities while growing up. Boys Club basketball, local Federal Way soccer teams, Marine Hills swimming, and high school tennis. He also participated in high school jazz band. In addition Matthew was a member of the high school honor society. He had a keen interest in world events and loved to travel with his family all over the United States and Europe.

Matthew was generous, kind, and compassionate to people he knew and anyone he would meet. He was always there if you needed him. His family will truly miss him and forever have him in our hearts.

Our family is planning a memorial service/celebration of life in February 2024 to honor Matt's memory. We will gather to remember the impact he had on our lives and the love he shared with everyone he knew.

Matt will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His kindness, generosity, and loving nature will be remembered forever.
