To the Daigle Family:

I was very sorry to read of Trooper Daigle's sudden and untimely passing. I regret not having had the opportunity to meet Him. I thank Him for his military service to our Country as well as his services to the Commonwealth as a Massachusetts State Police Trooper. Although not a Trooper myself, I do volunteer work at the State Police Museum in Grafton, and have learned much about the history of the MSP. Trooper Daigle has been and will always be a part of that history. Please accept my deep and sincere condolences on your recent loss, and may you find the strength to guide you through this most difficult time.

Your imprint on my family will forever be cherished. It is your friendship, commradory (and love of a good Pats game) that will be your legacy to them.

I know you are up there making God laugh. I hope all of the memories of laughter and happy times bring some peace to your family at this sorrowful time.

I did not know Mathew but I work for his father; who will miss a great son. Mathew fought for our country and was protecting us every day. We will all miss you Mathew.

I only Matt for a short time, but in that time I learned that he was the most caring and funniest guy I have ever met. I can't wrap my head around what happened. You will be sorely missed. The world was lucky to have seen your beautiful soul.
