Dear Sherie and Mathew I am so so sorry for your loss. He is an Angel watching over both of you. My thoughts and prays are with you.

Matt, you were A Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Godfather, and a Friend, so many things to so many people. You were a protector of children, a defender of the underdog, you gave the best Hugs, had the broadest shoulders, and the biggest Heart. Your smile was like sunshine. And your voice on the other end of the phone, was a comfort in the worst of times. And you always knew when to make a joke. You will be missed, so much by so many. You were my Hero, I was blessed to have you in my life, as a cousin and a friend, I love you, i miss you terribly.

Heaven truly does have a new angel to look over you. I am so saddened by your loss. I consider it an honor and privilege that I knew Matt. My brothers and sister also send their condolences, along with Danny (my student teacher). I love you, my friend, and am here for you.

We are so sorry for the loss of Matt. It is so hard sometimes to try to find the best words to help you through this time but the one word that comes to mind about Matt is 'peaceful'. Matt will always be remembered for the many great things he did for everyone and his memory will live on and on. Every time we hear the word 'peaceful' we will think of Matt.
