Matthew John Graf

Graf Matthew John, born August 26, 1958, born to eternal life October 6, 2005. Nursing degree from the College of St. Catherine, St. Mary's Campus. Director of Nursing at nursing homes in Minneapolis and Roseville. Matthew was blessed with a generous, courageous, Christ-like heart. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, John Graf; infant brother, John Edward; all grandparents, notably Arlene Eisenbarth, whom he loved deeply; also dear granddaughter, Abygail; other relatives & friends, most recently Donna Cunningham and John Trine. Matthew leaves behind his beloved sons, Matthew Edward Graf, wife Rainey, their daughter Serenity Rose; Paul John Graf, Corporal, United States Marines; life partner, Jule Theiler; his mother, Enone Kunar; beloved sister, Therese Wishard; brothers, Rusty, John, Mark and Don Graf & spouses; sustaining friends, Bret Bannon, Linda Tally, Lori Willis and many other friends and nursing associates. Funeral services will be held at the Church of St. Mary, 407 S. 5th St., Stillwater, Tuesday, Oct. 11, Visitation 5:30-7 PM, Funeral Liturgy 7 PM. Interment at Garden of Memories Evergreen Cemetery, Hot Springs, SD. Memorials to Trinity Mission, St. Paul. "Truly this was a man who worked on himself."
