Matthew William Kelly

I was informed the other day of
Matt's passing. Words cannot express the depth of my sorrow at hearing this news. He will be missed.

Matthew was a childhood friend of mine, and I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He, his brother, and his loving family will be in our thoughts.

I'm terribly sad to hear the news of Matt's passing. We worked together at Kinkos here in Austin a few years back... Matt was a great person and a good friend, I still remember many of our conversations and I will keep them in my memories. I hope you find yourself in a peaceful place and know that you are missed.

Our hearts are broken .We heard about Matt's passing on the 28th. My son Brandon Whitson went to strickland and Brentwood .Our prayers go out to you all.

It is very hard to imagine the world without Matt and his desire and passion in it. He truly blessed and spread his passion with everyone that he ever knew. I am blessed to say that we were friends, and I can only pray that his work on this earth be continued by us his friends.
My heart is with his family, and I can only pray that they will feel and express every emotion they feel in relation to Matt and his passing.
I take peace in knowing that one day I will see Matt again.

I was blessed to hear all of the wonderful testimonials about Matthew at the funeral. His love of Christ that we saw at Brentwood Christian School continued to flourish and grow even stronger after he left here. He surely made the most of the life God gave him and influenced many with his faith. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I would like to send my deepest and dearest condolances to Linda and all of the Kelly family. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Matthew I am sure he was a great young man. I worked with his mother for many, many years. I know his parents are great people who are very dedicated and loving in their faith. Our prayers are with you.

I was blessed to know Matthew. Matthew demonstrated the awesome work that God does in a person at an early age. He was devoted to sharing the Gospel around the world and used his gift of languages to do so. He has touched many lives in many countries, and has certainly touched mine and my family. God bless you Matthew.

Matt was a wonderful young man that made a difference in everyone he got to know. I worked with him two summers ago at CNA and really enjoyed having the pleasure to have met him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Matthew, I called you my big brother ever since I met you in tenth grade. You were a person to look up to and admire. I love you big brother and will miss you.

To have known this wonderful young man was a blessing and a privilege. Matt ministered to everyone in need and never boasted about what he had done. His faith was sure, his love for God authentic and his Christian walk real. It did not take long for someone meeting Matt for the first time to find this out. He had his priorities straight, he loved God first, his family next and put others above himself. There will be a void in so many of our lives here, but what a joyous welcome home in Heaven he will have.

I only got the chance to meet you briefly, but you made a strong impression on me. Your spirit, your clear sense of self. Your selflessness. Your positive outlook, your willingness to step-up, do well. I could tell you were dedicated to doing a good job at no matter what you did or where you did it. You told me briefly about your future plans. I was looking forward to getting to know you better and becoming friends.

I'm so sad that you're gone.

I'm sad for everyone who loves you who are left here to grieve.

I know in my heart that you did not suffer. I know you are still here, in many ways. I know you are at peace.

I will pray for you, Matthew. Please pray for all of us here.

You made this world a brighter, better place. We won't forget you. I won't forget you. Thank you for your gifts that you've left for us.

Matt was in my 11th grade US History class at Brentwood Christian School. I remember his thoughtfulness not just on the subject but what it meant for God's people. I remember the fund raising he did for his various mission trips and his desire to use language and culture to share the love of Christ with others. Our sympathy and prayers are with the family and we rejoice in the life Matt lived giving glory to the Father above.

I met Matthew at New Hope Church.
I knew him for a short time, but when he shared about witnessing to people about Jesus Christ, he demonstrated his passion in spreading the Gospel.
He will be dearly missed at New Hope. Our sympathy to the Kelly Family,We will pray for God's strength and comfort for your Family, in this difficult time.

Matthew has been an inspiration to me for some time. I recall the moment you two shared, the moment Jesus took over Matthew's life. His journey was short, but God has used him as He desired, and was no doubt pleased with Matthew's work, his life, his thoughts, and his family. His memory will not fade from any of us who were fortunate enough to share words with him. His head rests on Gods shoulder now. He is home.

It was good to see Matthew again. I worked with him about 3 years ago during his first round at FedEx Kinko's. It was great to see him, when he walked back into our class, just two weeks ago. Everyone had a wonderful time getting to know him. He will be greatly missed. His spirit and enthusiasm for life was contagious. Our thoughts are with his family.

We are so lucky to have the ability to remember and smile proudly. There are no words to express how deeply touched I am to have known Matt. When I think back at times in my life one of the thoughts that I love the most involve the Kelly family... All I can say is "He will charm the pants off you"!
