LANGENDERFER Matthew J. "Matt/Moon" Matthew J. Langenderfer, "Matt /Moon", passed away February 18th, 2011, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 43. His courage, positive attitude, determination, and faith in God helped him "fight the fight"! Born to Daniel and Mariarlene (Eisel) Langenderfer on July 24, 1967, Matt was the third of four children. Matt's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews providing them with a strong, loving, role model who supported them in all of their endeavors. He will be fondly remembered for his endless friendship, great sense of humor, unforgettable smile, love of golf and his passion for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be dearly missed by his parents; siblings, Jeff (Patty) Langenderfer of Sylvania Twp., Pam (Tom) Della Flora of Maumee, and Janel (Tom) Fanning of Galena; nieces and nephews, Kaley, Tyler, and Nick Langenderfer, Corryn and Sydney Della Flora, and Tommy, Nathan, and Luke Fanning; as well as a host of friends and close co-workers from Power Train and Evergreen Landscaping Company. Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, his godfather uncle Gordon, and his uncle Gerard. Visitation will be at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, on Wednesday, February 23rd, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a scripture service beginning at 8:00 p.m. Morning prayers will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m.,on Thursday, February 24th , with Mass following at Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish, Marygrove at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank-you" to Dr. Paul and the Hospice team. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or donor's choice.
