Happy Birthday baby! I miss you so much. Everyday I wonder how our lives would be today. We would have our family with Billy and Mattie.I LOVE YOU I've always have and always will. You hold that special place in my heart. I know one day we will be together again and I can't wait for that day. But until then all I have is my memories and the most special gift you could have ever given me Mattie. I know that I'm a day early but I will go see you tomorrow. I Love you! Dear Lord please be with Sandra & Phillip, his babies, and all the loved ones Matt had to leave behind. Time dosen't heal nothing. Time only allows you to accept the fact that Matt was called home. We may or may not ever get the answer we want, why they had to leave us so soon. Only God can decide that. All we can do is have faith, and be good. So we can be reunited again. Our Dear Lord needs his son Matt back. So that his army is more handsome, loving, smart, courages, and free spirit. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

In this time of grief, suffering I pray for an added sense of your presence. I want to grow stronger in this time and not weaker. even when "my soul melts from heaviness," I pray that you will "strengthen me according to your word"

I went to school with Matt at Santa Fe High and when we should have been doing our work we were talking about elk hunting in unit 52 or fishing in Pecos. Matt was one of the boys and he will be missed. My prayers are with him and all of us who lost him.
