MATTHEW CONRAD MORSE

27, left this earth on March 29, 2018. Matt was born on May 25, 1990 and was the beloved son of Mary Jo and Michael C. Morse, brother to Kerry T. (Andrew)Tudor, Uncle to Ayden and Ashton. Grandson to Jean A. Morse and Joan A. Conrad. Nephew to Mark L. and Cindy Morse, Amy Fullerton, Edward J. Conrad, III and Linda, Sharon M. Conrad and Robert J. and Laurel Conrad. Cousin to Jaclyn (Nate) Hyest, Trevor (Erica) Morse, Corey (Kaci) Morse, Neil Fullerton, Samantha Fullerton, Mark Mattson (fiance Stephanie) Bradley Mattson, Jeffrey Mattson, Megan Mattson, Christopher Mattson, Courtney Conrad and Cara Conrad. Matt was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leonard E. Morse and Edward J. Conrad, Jr. Matt worked in both family businesses – Medina Auto Parts, Inc. and Conrad's Tire Express and Total Car Care, Inc. Matt attended Medina City Schools throughout his childhood. He graduated from Western Reserve Academy in 2009. He attended the University of Colorado – Boulder and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2014. Matt was loved by all who knew him. He was kind, gentle and giving. He was blessed with intelligence, athleticism and grace. He played soccer through Medina Rangers where he was a fierce defender. Matt loved the game of basketball and was an avid golfer as he was a member of both the Medina High School and Western Reserve Academy's golf and basketball teams. He enjoyed Colorado life of snowboarding through fresh snow on a sunny day or just a vigorous hike in the Rocky Mountains. Matt loved to travel and went on a six week trip through many national parks in the summer of 2016 camping under the stars. Matt battled addictions for many years. He faced his challenges with courage and conviction. He ended his struggles and now has found his peace. In honor of Matt's love for dogs, (his pal Lilo) contributions in his memory can be made to Snow Caps Sled Dogs, 6061 Tiger Road, Breckenridge, Colorado 80424 or to the charity of your choice. The family will hold a private celebration of Matt's life at a future time.
