Matthew Restelli Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 1, 2024.
Matthew Clark Restelli, known affectionately as Matt, passed away tragically on July 12, 2024, in American Fork, Utah, at the age of 42. He was born on May 4, 1982, in Houston, Texas. Matt's life was characterized by his deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid mountain biker and fisherman, he spent many hours exploring nature's trails and reveling in its tranquility, often accompanied by his beloved children.

Matt's adventurous spirit and his profound appreciation for the natural world were evident to all who knew him. His commitment to his family was unparalleled, providing them with not just love, but the shared experience of adventure that brought them closer together.

He leaves behind his wife and children, Lucas, Cheyenne, and Steel, who will miss him dearly. Matt is also survived by his mother, Diane Restelli; his older brother, Paul Restelli, his wife Tiffany, and their children Rylie, Audrey, Carson, and Stella; and his younger brother, Mark Restelli, his wife Kelly, and their sons Ryatt and Jett. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Paul Restelli, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Matt's memory. Details of the service will be announced at a later date, following the completion of necessary legal proceedings. This gathering will be an intimate occasion for family and close friends to remember Matt and the joy he brought into their lives.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Matt's memory can make monetary contributions to Diane Restelli, who will establish a memorial fund for Matt's three children. This gesture will support the continuation of their education and nurture the adventurous spirit their father cherished.

Me and my son Ian were good friends with Matt and we worked with him a lot on different dirt jobs. Matt was the king of person that would do anything for you..He was probably the kindest man I've ever known and he was amazing and patient with his kids and loved them and life very much. We miss you and are heartbroken but we know we will get to see him someday in Heaven. God Bless you Matt

We lived next door to the Restellis for many years. Our kids grew up together and had many a fun times on Silvertree Lane!. Matt was always over talking to Butch in the garage wondering what he was working on.
Matt, Heaven just got a new angel prayers for Kate and the children and for Diane, Paul and Mark.
