RIGGS
MATTHEW "FAT BOY"
Matthew "Fat Boy" Riggs, age 26, of White Oak, on Friday, October 14, 2011, peacefully and surrounded by love, met Jesus, his Savior, and is now safely in His arm's. Matthew was born on May 24, 1985 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and is the son of Wayne and Pamela (Brumbaugh) Riggs of White Oak. In addition to his parents, Matthew is the grandson of Paul (Mary) Brumbaugh of Level Green; brother of Darlene (Jesse) McCune of Cranberry and Garrett (Tabi Lutz) Riggs of Liberty Boro, and uncle of Keira McCune. He was preceded in death by grandparents, the late Thomas D. and Marie Riggs and the late Darlene Brumbaugh. Matthew was the proprietor of Fat Boy's Pizza in Boston. He was a 2003 graduate of McKeesport High School and a 2005 graduate of Bradford School of Business. Matthew's quiet strength, kindness, and fun loving spirit, along with those big brown eyes will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Matt was an excellent basketball player, best cook at Fat Boy's Pizza, and his love of sports, especially his Steelers, were some of his greatest pleasures. Only to be outdone by his love for family and friends... Garrett, Darlene, and his Keira to name a few. Special love and thanks to Dr. Monga, Dr. Freyvogel, A.G.H. Cancer Center, West Penn Hospice, Bill, Chris, and especially to Dr. R. McGill, her loving care for Matt is forever in our hearts. His Master Replied, "Well done good and faithful servant... come and share your Master's happiness." Matthew 25:21. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the JENNIFER S. JORDAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., White Oak. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Word and Worship Church, 1200 Wolf Ave., North Braddock, PA 15104, where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Rajchel and Rev. Dennis Keefe officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery.
