Matthew Adam Riordan

Matty was a great friend to my daughter Ashley. One could not help but love this guy....he was irresistable. Matt was the guy all guys want to be like. RIP, my friend.

I was very sad and could not believe the news I heard about Matt passing. I just spent 30 minutes finding this sight. It seemed like yesterday that I had a drink on the sunset lounge patio with Matt. My husband and I are sad to hear the news of Matt's passing and wish we could have attended the funeral. He will be missed!

Matt, we knew each other for eight years but never actually met in real life. Still, I thought of you as my platonic soul mate--as an extension of myself. You'll never know how much you meant to me, and how much I loved you. My heart is broken. I'll miss you forever.

I just left beautiful memorial service for Matt, with friends out the door. I heard approximately 400 family and friends attended. What a testament to Matt and the entire Riordan family of how they have touched the community. Continue to pray for Christ to bring joy and peace for all the family and friends. God Bless!

To all of Matt's family. When my son, Chris Peek, called to tell me the news, I was very sad and distressed. They had enjoyed spending time together at the rival college football games between SC and AR, and he had stayed with Chris and other friends in our home. May God bring you comfort in the months and years to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
