Matthew Samu Obituary
Matt was born in Youngstown, Ohio and lived in Howland with his family throughout his school years. He was a graduate of Howland High School where he participated in different activities, excelling, in wrestling.
He then became a carpenter by trade and resided in Struthers, Ohio. Matt completed many beautiful renovation projects throughout the years.
Matt loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, kayaking, riding motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He was a kind man with a gentle soul and enjoyed helping people, especially those in need.
Besides his mother of New Port Richey, Fl, he leaves his older sister, Jenn Samu-Herbert (Steve), niece Lauren, of Commerce Township, Michigan and his older brother Scott (Bethany) of Columbus, Ohio.
Matt will be missed by all. There will be no services. His ashes will be placed next to his dad, who he loved and missed dearly.

Mattie not a day goes by that I don´t think of you. I love you so much son. I´m so glad you came to see me and gave me a hug and kiss days before you passed. Now you are with dad. I pray every day for your souls. I don´t know when but I do know I will be with the two of you some day. All my love Mom

Prayers to the all of the Samu Family. I wrestled with Matt in High School (I was a freshman when he was a senior). We always acknowledged me when our paths would cross over the years. He will always be remembered by those of the Howland Wrestling Family that were blessed to have shared time with him. God Bless
