Maureen Alice Donovan, aged 71, passed away on August 5, 2025. Born on February 22, 1954, in Chicago, IL, Maureen spent her formative years in Villa Park, IL, from 1957 until 2002 before moving to Lombard where she lived with her sister Linda and nephew Tommy Donovan.

A graduate of St. Alexander Elementary School and Willowbrook High School, both located in Villa Park, Maureen was deeply embedded in her community. She was known for her warm, friendly, and fun-loving nature, often found at the heart of her church and community activities.

Maureen dedicated to her beloved St. Alexander's Catholic Church in Villa Park, where she was a member of the choir, reflecting her passion for music and singing. Her involvement in the church was a testament to her faith and commitment to her community.

She is survived by her siblings, Barry Donovan (Barb) of Canton, GA, Linda Donovan of Lombard, IL, and Tim Donovan (Gina). She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Barry Donovan and Mary Donovan (Galivan).

A memorial mass and Celebration of Life for Maureen will be held at St. Alexander Catholic Church on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. Her life and spirit will be honored in the place she loved and served with great devotion.
