Maureen Murphy was a longtime friend and supporter of the work we do at Catholic Charities. We were so saddened to hear of her sudden passing. Maureen's compassion and generosity is part of the great tradition of our shared Christian faith: caring for those who need our help. May God bless you all.

Msgr Tim, Neil, & the Murphy family: I extend my condolences on the passing of Maureen. I remember her from her young swimming achievements, not realizing she was a member of the Murphy family of Central Catholic fame.

The gold medal not achieved in the Olympics has now been awarded as she stands on the podium in her celestial state...surrounded by the angels who silently cheered her earthly swimming meets.

May the grace of our Heavenly Father bring comfort as you mourn this loss.

Auntie Mo,

You will be so missed by All of your Family. Your Gracious Spirit, Sense of Adventure and Love of Life taught all so much. Some of my favorite memories of childhood are days spent with you zipping around between The Bay Rock, Doug's House and any number of stores that were having a great sale. As I grew up and had my own Family you were always there to remind me how wonderful they all are. From teaching the kids to swim, to suggestions on how to maximize lemonade sales, you always wanted the best for all of us. We will all miss you dearly.

Love The Murphy's,

Patrick, Lisa, Griffin, Jackson and Megan

Mo, There has to be a special place in heaven for old team mates. Especially ones that swam, trained, and competed together. We share many memories and races. Enjoy your meeting up with Phill and keep a spot shined up for me. It may take me a while, but I will join you. Swimmers are the best and closest friends.
Love for you...
