Maureen Tansey Obituary
Maureen was born August 28 1942 in Ipswich, England the daughter of Reginald and Audrey (Dickerson) Jarrett and died April 7, 2023 in Sierra Vista, AZ.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Tansey, Jr. Her daughters Kelley Paskell, of Sierra Vista, AZ and Deborah LeBlanc and her husband Keith of Leominster, MA. Her grandchildren, Markayla Tansey, Kelley Marie, Randy, Matthew, Jason and Zackery Paskell, Joseph and Jake LeBlanc along with 5 great grandchildren. Her brothers Graham and Anthony Jarrett of Ipswich, England.
She was predeceased by her son Mark Tansey on August 28, 2022 and brother Robert Jarrett on October 30, 2022.
Maureen worked as a stainer at Selig's Mfg. Co., Inc, in Leominster and a sticher at Sanitoy, Inc., in Fitchburg before moving in 1993 to Sierra Vista, AZ where she worked at the Super 8 Motel. For 15 years she enjoyed her time with the Joanettes Drum & Bugle Corps as a chaperone and also serving on the Board of Directors. She was a Den Mother for the Leominster Pack 4 Cub Scouts for 6 years.
She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be truly missed and forever in our hearts.
Her cremains are inurned at Arizonia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Sierra Vista, Ft. Hauchuca, AZ.
