Maureen Mary "Mimi" Tucci

To Mimi's family



I was shocked and saddened to see Mimi's obituary when I returned from vacation. She was my mom's home care nurse in 1990/1991 and came to her funeral when she died in 1991. I am a nurse and it was so hard for me to ask for help and Mimi was the perfect person sent to assist my mom and me. I help facilitate a grief support group and in a talk I give ,I speak of Mimi and how wonderful she was to my mom and to me and how much she supported me in problem solving for my mom. She was the kindest, gentlest person with such a wonderful smile. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely,

To Mimi's family: I worked with Mimi for the last 5 years and I found her to be the kindest, sweetest person I've ever known. Because I was in Alaska on vacation when she died, I didn't find out until it was too late to attend her service. May God be with you and hold your memories of Mimi near.

share my memory with Mimi. I taught

Mimi at Holy Angel's and I remember her generous nature and the shy way she would tilt her head and bless you with a wonderful smile. Cathy had put Mimi's name on the prayer list of the Sisters of St. Joseph and Consociates; we will continue to hold you all in prayer through this most painful time. Mimi cast a wide net of influence by her loving ways.

No one can ever replace the bright light that was Mimi. To know her was to love her. (I knew Mimi from our years at Methodist and took care of her as a pt.)

Dear Tucci Family,

My mom and dad called me as they were leaving for vacation of the news of Mimi's passing. We are all terribly saddened to hear of your loss. Mimi was a wonderful person whom my whole family really liked. You were great neighbors to us growing up on Myrtle. I still remember that one of the first phrases my little brother Justin was able to say was Mimi Tucci! I am sure my parents Larry and Shirley Sticht would gladly join me in saying that we were lucky to have had our lives touched by such a nice person as Mimi. You will be in our prayers.

Mimi was the hospice nurse on call the night my mother died. She was a wonderful nurse/person that evening. How lucky we are to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. She was an example to all of us; she was so compassionate and caring.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I wanted you to know that I was one of the NICU babies that your wife took care of at HCMC 21 years ago. Thank you for allowing "Mimi" to work at HCMC. She will always be remembered by my parents and me as a hero.

Also, I am not the only one that I know who is praying for you and your family. The church that I attend is praying for you as well.
