Dearest St-Jacques family,

I was so sorry to hear of your family's great loss. I just found out today from your cousin Donna having run into her at the store. When asking how her family was, she told me of her uncle Moe.

I remember Monsieur St-Jacques fondly from my year spent with Diane at teacher's college in Sudbury; always a smile on his face. The St-Jacques family was always kind to me. They were so helpful at getting us settled in our new place away from home.

I understand your grief having lost my own father a few years ago, but I know your family is strong and you will continue to honour his memory by living your lives with love and warmth.

Sincerely,
Linda Arena-Glenn
my husband, John, and children also wish to express their sincerest sympathies.

Dearest Elaine,
There is no possible way to say how much Moe will be missed. We love you both, and still regret not being able to stop and visit when we passed you on Chesapeake Dr. We were late for an appointment, and could only wave. Moe was such an inspiration to all that knew him and will be generateing good memories for a very long time. My prayers are for the comfort of you and your family. With our Love,

Dear Elaine and Family. Moe was a good friend of mine. I treasured his considerable knowledge, his honesty and his professionalism during those many years that we worked together at CMHC. He had that terrific smile and always an optimistic, positive outlook. We send you our condolences and we want you to know that you are in our prayers during this most difficult time.

Elaine and Family
Bev and I were very saddened by the news of Moe's passing. While Moe and your family knew of this eventual day, the very positive support you have received is an expression of the strength of your family. Know that in addition to your immediate family, Moe and all of you have touched the hearts of many. Although we could not be at the funeral today we hope to gather with you and reflect upon the many fond memories and great times with Moe.

Pierre & Family: It is always sad to read of ones passing but expecially Moe's as he added so much to every life that he touched. As you know I came to know your Father well while I had the privilage to be Chairman of CMHC. Moe was always extremely helpful in assisting me to understand the situation and people I would have to deal with--his knowledge and advice was most helpful and worthwhile. Yes his smile was most contagous and brightend the room when he walk in. Pierre he was always so pleased to inform me how well you were doing and you could see the look of a proud Father.
I want express my condoelences and to say that Moe is now in God's hands and He will see a true and faithful servant.

Pierre and family

Please accept my deepest prayers for the passing of your dad. I had the honour of knowing him from working at CMHC in Administration Division, almost 23 years ago.

At my first meeting with your dad, I address him as Mr. St. Jacques, and he laughed and states that, that title was used for his father and to call him Moe. He always had a smile and a kind word for me.

When I would run into your dad at National Office, he kept me up to date and how you were getting along. He always spoke so very proudly of you and your sisters.

May god hold you in the palm of his hand and guide you during the difficult times ahead. Hold on tight to your memories.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Elaine and family at this difficult time. Upon meeting Moe the first time here in Tarpon Springs 4 years ago, I felt an immediate bond to this wonderful man - his great character and warmth were instantly evident, and we will miss him very much. I will be forever grateful for his efforts in our community, which enabled us to own this little slice of paradise - I am told that without him this would never have happened. May God richly bless all of you.

Elaine & Family:

You all have been in our thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks. Mo was truly one of a kind and it has been such a privilege to have known him and called him a friend for so many years. I just learned of Mo's passing this morning and am so sorry that I will not be able to be able be with you as I am currently out of town on business. Please know that we will continue to pray for you during this difficult time. We have truly lost one of the best but his legacy is rich and will live on proudly and well through you all.

Dear Elaine and family:
Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead, as you cope with Moe's passing. Having just gone through this with our Mom, the pain and grief of her sudden passing is still there, but although its hard for us to let them go, we need to believe that God has a bigger plan for our loved ones. He has removed them from any further pain and suffering they may have had to endure. We need to believe this and stay strong. Keep remembering all the wonderful times you have shared with Moe, these memories will last forever.

Dear Diane,

I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing – what a tremendous loss this must be for you and your family. I still remember you telling me stories of how your mom and dad helped you with loving hands to paint your classroom and help you set up for the new school year.

As found on a headstone in Ireland; death leaves a heartache no one can steal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Please accept our deepest condolences.

To Elaine and family, we wish to offer our sincere sympathy. We enjoyed our many work and social times over so many years. My guess is that we first became co-workers back in 1968, and then had paths interconnect several times afterwards, with many mutual friends adding to the list along the way. Not to forget the "Louis' pizza " traditional meetings. We'll now just go forward and cherish that smile, that sense of humour , and that friend that only Moe could be.
