I will always remember her making all of us cousins waffles or cereal in the morning when we would go visit her at her New Bern house. She introduced me to putting sugar on my Cheerios and I still to this day eat my cheerios with sugar sprinkled on top. -Karis

Mavis worked with me at Robinson and Stith Insurance for many years.
I was the one that gave her the nick name of oldest and wisest and she wisest.
She had a vast knowledge of insurance and had a great relationship with clients and co workers. She was a valuable piece to our team and I leaned on her many times for special projects.
I would get my answer back in a paragraph or two that was very easy to understand.
Rest in eternal peace Mavis.

Mavis was not only a great co-worker but a friend for many years! Loved the Sing-A-Ling times we shared! Remembering when she created a UNCW Seahawk pillow for my kids´ college dorm room! Such a talented person! She will be missed! Love to all of her family!

I fondly remember watching the Christmas parade from Aunt Mavis´s office window above Clark´s drugstore...waiting to see Susan twirling her baton in the parade.

I worked with Ms. Lee at Robinson and Stith, we affectionately called her, 'Deputy Dog', if it needed figuring out, she was the one to figure it out! She taught me to embrace problems and to enjoy the solving of those problems. I loved working with her, she will always be missed.
