There are so many words that describe Gram but the one that I think fits best is Loving. She loved all of us equally and always made sure to tell us that. We will miss her very much. My fondest memories as a kid are the heated games of Yahtzee with Gram. I would walk to her house, we would have tea and play this game for hours. I remember the first time I took my Grand Daughter Luci to see Gram in Alaska. We were driving down the dirt road to her house and Luci said "I didn't know people lived in the forest". Luci is from North Dakota so she was not used to seeing so many trees. When I told Gram about it laughed so hard and gave Luci a big hug. It was a blessing to have Gram in our lives and it is going to be a blessing to see her again when we pass. Love your "little" Grandson.

Mom I always told you I love you to the moon and back. Meant every word of it. I will miss you always. I am looking forward to meeting you in heaven. You were a true blessing in my life and an inspiration. You touched and blessed many people. Sweetest person ever. Thank you for the many years of love and encouragement.

"Grandma Max" is what our two sons called Maxine. She took care of them at the bowling alley while I bowled on a league in the 1970's. She knitted each one of the kids in her care a hat with their names on it. We still have the hats she knitted for our sons. The boys are now 41 and 38 years old. Maxine was a treasure - one of God's angels on this earth. She shared His love wherever she went.
