In memory of
Jerilane Willis
July 30, 2024
Dr Jones I just saw this. So very sorry for the loss of your wife Maxine. Though I never met her I know she was the love of your life. I know your family was very important to you as well as you many patients. I'm so glad you took on our son Carlin Willis who is now 37 years old. I'll never forget when you stopped by my hospital room at St Agnes to let me know you were going to be my preemie baby yet to be born doctor. I know your wife is still smiling down on you as you continue to live life with her in your heart. Many prayers Love always the Willis family Jerilane, Michael and Carlin.

Richard, I've just read this legacy. I am so glad you had Maxine for all the years since the diagnosis. You have been a beacon of warmth and a support to your colleagues and community. Maxine, I'm sure gave you the wherewithal to accomplish much in pediatrics, your family and your Church.

Richard,
My whole life I have heard the names "Richard and Maxine" spoken of with love and joy. The two of you were such an important part of the early years of the formation of my family. The experiences that our families shared in Graz have helped to make the Ramsey family what it is. You are a part of us.
It is with sadness that I recently heard of Maxine's death. It is impossible for me to imagine one of you without the other. Thank heaven that you have a marriage that will last forever! I hope that you will find comfort in that and your wonderful family.
With much love,
Christina Ramsey Harris

Dear Dr. Jones,
Since we first knew you and Maxine in 1977, you have repeatedly been the closest link between mortal life and the afterlife for members of our whole family. Your gift of tender understanding and physical/spiritual healing, always liberally given - without reservation, literally was the tie that saved us and bound us together.
As with your tender invitation to Hope that evening at St. Agnes Hospital, when you took her by the hand and gently said, "Come with me." and took her to Maxine's bedside, you have beckoned to us and shared that which was most precious to you, and to us
---and you still are!
We will hold you in our prayers and deepest thoughts and gratitude.
May Christ's comfort and healing hands continue to cradle and guide you and your family always!
With deep love,

Dear Jones family,
One of the greatest gifts given to men who have a long-standing sweetheart and mother like Maxine was (and is), is to realize that any worldly achievement pales in comparison to the influence and power to do good of such a noble daughter of our Heavenly Father. We want you to know of our love and prayers for your family and that we will be forever grateful for the influence of Maxine in all of our lives.

Begin your Guest Book entry here.MaxIne was a one of a kind friend.
I loved that she never needed to be the center of attention. She always made me feel comfortable, accepted and important, even she didn't feel good she had time to sit and visit. When I think of her I will forever
Remember her sweet, happy countenance....lots of love, Lark and Helmut

We have so many cherished memories of being welcomed into the home of "Dr.J" and Maxine, of conversing, laughing, being treated to the best of food and always feeling loved and served. Maxine is the greatest example of appreciating the beauty in life, of loving and serving selflessly, and of strength and faith through pain and adversity.
We love you and your wonderful family. Wolf & Julie

I just wanted the Jones family how blessed our family is due to the love and care she shared with me and my children. She will always be in our hearts, and we will always remember the gracious welcomes we received when we came over to swim and play- and for the times she took care of my boys for me when I couldn't. My Elder Joshua, upon hearing the news, said to me, 'Mom-can you give me their address so I can send them a card and a note.' I know how busy and tired he is right now, but his first thought was to try to bring some comfort to your family.
Truly we will miss her grace and example on this Earthly plane- but we are grateful that she is now in Heavenly Father's arms, and free of the pain she had been suffering.
She will always be a part of our lives, as we learned so much from her and your family.
May our Heavenly Father keep you all in within his arms.
We love you all,
The Sharp Family
