Hoffman Family,
I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Eddie before his death. He was such a strong individual whom I grew to admire. He dealt with his illness valiantly, unlike many others I have known. I will cherish the fond memories I have of him. Nurse Fluffy was a jewel and very helpful with maintaining Eddie's emotional fortitude.
Each of you will deal with your loss in so many different ways. I encourage you to lean on those who avail themselves to you at your time of loss.
Be encouraged and blessed.

Karen, Carla, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I truly am. I know the pain you feel and the void in your hearts. But the memories you have in your hearts will soon fill the emptiness. May God comfort you all and you find peace in your hearts.

I worked with Ed for twenty years prior to his retirement and shared many a laugh with him. His perspective on life was refreshing back then and made for some interesting travel to Wallops Island. Ed has joined the quickly growing ranks of NASA alum that left their legacy on Aeronautics that are no longer here to witness the the joys of flight. God speed Ed.
