March 9, 2020
Maynard was my friend from the third grade. We played on five little league baseball teams together. He was a good pitcher and a really good shortstop. He was the fastest player on most of those teams. We were classmates through high school. A decision he made as a 10 year old boy led me to become a Christian.

I have not been able to express the loss I feel for losing Maynard. He was my true friend. My only comfort in this time of sorrow is knowing that deep inside I shall see him again, God willing.
