ON MASH AS COL. BLAKE. HE WAS HILARIOUS. I SAW HIM IN OTHER SERIES AFTER HE HAD LEFT MASH THAT DID NOT LAST LONG INCLUDING THE TV VERSION OF DIRTY DANCING REST IN PEACE

I only know him through his portrayal of Lt Col Henry Blake on M.A.S.H., but his self deprecating humor and warmth that he showed in that series was simply impeccable. I don´t think I´ve ever cried for a movie character the way I have for Henry Blake. It´s as if he was a real person and I feel privileged to be able watch those episodes in syndicate even now in 2025.

I SAW YOU IN A NUMBER OF TV SERIES BUT YOUR PERFORMANCE OF HENRY BLAKE ON MASH IS UNFORGETTABLE AS THE LAID BACK C.O. AND DEDICATED SURGEON. WHO ELSE COULD PLAY HENRY THE WAY YOU DID. R.I.P.

I LOVE the MASH series, especially with McLean Stevenson. He is a great actor and from Bloomington, Illinois where I have family. I am from Eureka, Illinois which is about 20 miles from Bloomington. I am so glad that the series go on and on and on, which is a great tribute to him as a wonderful human being.
