Last Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 the world lost a true angel in Megan Gianotti. Megan was born and raised in Santa Barbara and San Diego, California where she discovered a love for the theater and the arts. She chose to attend the University of Oregon and upon graduation decided to make Oregon her new home. It was in Portland she met her husband of 8 ½ years, John Gianotti. She is survived by her husband, her two children, Nicholas and Sophia, her parents, Gene and JoAnn, her two brothers, Andy and Tim and their families, her two grandparents, Pierce Mullaly and Gertrude Peabody, many aunts and uncles, countless cousins in the Peabody and Mullaly families and by marriage the extended Gianotti family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Providence Family Cancer Center/Family Support Group. Public Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 from 1:00pm -5:00pm at Zeller Chapel of the Roses 2107 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232 (503) 287-1155 www.zellerchapeloftherose.com Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Jan. 16th 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Church (The Madeleine) Private interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
