Megan McNamara Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 11, 2024.
Megan Ann McNamara age 56, from Brecksville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Ames Family Hospice House on March 10, 2024. Born September 22, 1967, she lived life on her own terms and had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor and was incredibly generous. She was a nurse, a wonderfully, talented artist and "bedazzled" all as the life of any party. She was predeceased by her parents, James J. McNamara and Patricia (Gelnaw) McNamara. She is survived by her children, whom she loved fiercely, Levi Vetalice and Chloe Vetalice, her siblings Bridget O'Callahan (Tim), Jim McNamara (Rhonda) and Patrick McNamara (Jenny). "Mahgoo" was loved by her nine nephews and nieces who cherish the many fun memories she made for them. Megan had a special bond to her lifelong friend Holly (Rieman) Bell. Sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Western Reserve for their gentle and compassionate care. Gifts to celebrate Megan may be made to Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. https://hospicewr.org. All services private. Internment at Calvary Cemetery. Malloy-Esposito Memorial & Cremation.

I met Megan back in 2015 at the diplomat health care center it was around the time that my father passed away, after I returned to work after my father passed she left my spirits up and had me laughing the whole shift she just took my mind off of my hurt and I'm so grateful for those moments that I had with her, she use to call me from the grocery store and say I'm eating all the food up Arnetta and we use to laugh like crazy she also gave me her pretty pink bike dropped it off me and everything such a classy lady and I miss her dearly.R.I.P Megan

I met Megan on a dating site many years ago. Never dated. However, we would correspond occasionally. She was a friend I only talked to on the phone and online, but she truly was a delight. Funny, candid, honest and yes, beautiful. I just happened to look on Facebook to check in and found out she passed. I'm grateful I got to know her.

Sad to see this, Megan and I attended central school of practical nursing together. She was hilarious and smart.

I´m so glad Megan was a part of my life. As my "little sis´" in the sorority, she brightened my days by enjoying - but never taking too seriously - all that the organization had to offer. I will sincerely miss you!!
