Megan Croake Olson

Megan Croake Olson. St. John, US Virgin Islands, formerly of Tinton Falls, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on December 13, 2015. Born March 19, 1964 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, she was the daughter of Anne Comeau Croake and the late John P. Croake. She lived in Germany for five years and then moved to Tinton Falls, where she grew up, married, and raised a family. She received an RN at Brookdale Community College and BS in Nursing at Rutgers, Newark, and was a member of the Tinton Falls First Aid Squad and a certified massage therapist. She was also a CCD teacher and a youth group leader at St. Dorothea's in Eatontown. Five years ago she settled in Coral Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands. Megan brought her zest for life to Coral Bay, where she resurrected and coordinated the Labor Day Parade, and established Coral Bay's presence in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Cruz Bay.

Megan is survived by her loving husband, Paul Olson, and her three children; Brian, Sean, and Corinne, and her mother, Anne Comeau Croake; an aunt, Judith Comeau Joseph, an uncle, Lawrence Croake, and many friends. Her happiness was contagious and she taught us all how to celebrate life. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Dorothea's Church, Eatontown, on January 9, 2016, at 10 am. All are welcome to attend.

It just ran across this in 2023. I babysat Megan when our Dads were stationed in Berlin! I also have an amazing painting that my dad, Wayne Swanson, commissioned Anne to paint! It´s hanging in a very prominent place in my home. Im so sorry to see Megan has passed.
