In memory of Miss Still, an anonymous donation has been made to East Milton Elementary. This substantial gift is targeted towards our STE(A)M and art programs for Kindergarten students at our Title I school. We wish we would have had the opportunity to know Meghan but know her legacy lives on through her students.

Dear Susan Joe and Caitlin,
Words cannot begin to describe the deep sadness we feel over Meghan's passing. Meghan brought such incredible light to this world and she touched all of us greatly.
There are so many things that Meghan introduced to her students that will stay with them for years to come. Just a few weeks before Meghan's passing, Liberty talked about details of a story as watermelon seeds, something she learned from Miss Still. This was while she was polishing a story she was entering in a 7th grade Scholastic writing competition. And after second grade, it was always a special day at the GSA when Ms. Still was on campus to teach Yoga or substitute teach. She was such a good friend to the girls of 2023.
Meghan introduced us to games we still love to play like A Ticket to Ride, and she shared her stories of traveling in Cuba, which we have put on our " must visit" itinerary.
Meghan's blog was full of grace, humor and insights about life, and was always a pleasure to read. So much so that my husband posted some of her writings on Facebook to share Meghan's writings and thoughts with others. She was an incredible example of how to live life to the fullest. We love Meghan and will miss her dearly.
Sending you love,
Lari, Matt and Liberty

Im so sorry for your loss. I never met Meghans family but she spoke of
Them often and it was very clear that they were dedicated and abundantly loving.
Meghan was a special soul. Kind, adventurous, poised, and full of personality. I connected with Meghan through yoga and as yoga teachers we had a lot to talk about. Her grace and calm in leading class led me to reach new places in my own practice. We became friends quickly, I adored her, and found her strength through this battle inspiring. My Mom and others prayed for her healing diligently but God had a different plan and I look forward to seeing her again with Him. I will miss you sweet Meghan, the world will be forever impacted by your vibrance and love.

Megan impacted me before I ever met her, when I went on the Alternative Spring Break site my senior year at Vanderbilt that she helped begin in Huntsville. After moving to Austin, I met her through the Vanderbilt Alumni Association and knew that I would have a familiar face and friend whenever I was with the group. Peace to her family and friends during this time of remembrance, and I pray her legacy continues to live on in Huntsville and in Austin.

Heaven has gained a true angel. I had the pleasure of meeting Meghan through Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin. I instantly fell in love with her special spirit. I will fondly remember her faith, determination, positive disposition, humor, gratitude and grace through extreme challenges. May God bless her family with comfort and peace as they celebrate a life well lived.

Meghan was my daughter's second-grade teacher. Her love of learning and joyful spirit have continued to be an inspiration to my daughter. Through all of the children Meghan taught her spirit will live on. She is deeply missed.

Meghan was a much-loved member and yoga teacher at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin. It was a delight to be in her presence. While I will miss her, I rejoice that she is pain-free and in the arms of our Lord -- and probably doing some yoga posses in heaven.

I am so saddened to hear that Meghan no longer is here. She and I met at Vanderbilt, when we attended an alumni conference and she deftly recruited me to co-chair the Austin Chapter. The bonus for me accepting was that I got a new Austin friend! Had we attended VU at the same time, no doubt she and I would've been friends long ago. Meghan's life light was tremendous, and I'm fortunate to have known and spent time with her. I'll miss her blog musings, too; she was a talented writer, expressing both frustrations and gratitude with grace and humor. My heart breaks for the loss this beautiful woman leaves. Peace to her sister and parents.

Joe, Susan and Caitlin,
Our hearts are heavy but we want to express our love and admiration for your long battle and example of love beyond imagination for sweet Meghan. With your help she managed to touch so many lives and was such a wonderful inspiration to many many people. Your pride in her must have no bounds. She managed to make such a difference in the world in such a short time that puts the rest of us old folks to shame!
Her beautiful spirit lives on. She is as close as before, as you are already discovering.

so saddened to hear of Meghan's passing. I was in her sorority in college, and while we didn't know each other well, it was obvious what a kind, warm, and thoughtful person she was. My sincere condolences to her family and all who knew her.
