Im truly at a loss for words, it was a sudden shock for me to hear that Melanie had passed. She will be missed by one and all, but will live on in the heart and memories of those who loved her.

Your love and sorrow has filled my heart with saddness. My first memory of Melanie was when Auntie Dorie brought her over to our house shortly after she was born. I remember Melanie as free spirited and a happy soul. My love and prayers are with you all.

It was only last Thanksgiving that we had the opportunity to catch up with the Jacobi's. A warm welcome to the farm for dinner. I am shocked and saddened to hear of our loss and her passing. A strong woman and mother. I could clearly see that through her son Tyler. She will be in my prayers.

I came to Leduc on Friday and went right to the hospital and asked for her room number and was so sadded by the news I got. Gloria and I were going to see her on Saturday to have a little reunion and take her some black forest cake. My thoughts and prayers are with you all especially for her son Tyler and partner Mark and her mother Doris. She is at peace now. I will always remember her and staying overnight to join in on the fox trots.

I was sadden to hear of her passing, i will always remember the day at the farm when she stood her ground and punched goldy in the face because he was charger her. it broke her hand and she turned to me and said "see patty never back down, always stand your ground and you will be fine in life" i was about 6 at the time.
